2017 is the 20th Anniversary of Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group Inc.
To celebrate we will be holding a GALA DINNER DANCE on Saturday, 4th March, 2017 at the Nowra Golf Club, overlooking the beautiful Shoalhaven river.
We are inviting any past members of SBUG, members of other cycling groups and interested members of the public to celebrate with us.
All profits from this major event will go to Slice of Life Australia (SOLA) a local not-for-profit organisation providing supported hospitality employment for People with Disabilities.
It will be an evening of fun, excitement and nostalgia.
- Pre-dinner canapes and champagne, Main course and Dessert
- Presentation of the history of SBUG by patron Tom McDonald
- Continuous silent slide show on the large screen – hundreds of photographs from the past 20 years.
- Music, dancing, surprises and support featuring live music by ‘Shrewd Rhythm’.
- Address by SOLA founder Karen Anstiss.
- Drawing of winners in the Guessing Competition
- Cutting of our 20th Birthday Cake
GUESSING COMPETITION
To help raise funds for SOLA a Guessing Competition will be held in conjunction with the Gala Dinner Dance.
Thousands of dollars worth of prizes to be won ranging from a free Bosco tax return to Cafes meals and a Bike Shop vouchers.
Members who have business contacts are invited to help us provide more donated prizes.
All donors will be extensively promoted.
Members have been given books of tickets to sell.
All the prizes will be drawn on the evening of the Gala Dinner Dance. You do not have to be in attendance to win.
