Good Response to CPR Update at Bomaderry Bowling Club

Thirteen SBUG  members took advantage of of the CPR refresher course offered to riders last Friday at the Bomaderry Bowling Club. The session was organised by Jim Florence and conducted by Les, a local Ambulance Paramedic. Members were taken through the key steps of emergency care and how to administer CPR to injured people. All participants seemed to agree that the session was very worthwhile and there was agreement that this course should be offered to members every 12 months. A big thank you to Jim for organising the CPR update.

Unfortunately, last Thursdays Midweek Mountain Bike ride was cancelled due to heavy rain.

Last Sunday eight riders rode to Coolendel Lookout. Three riders started from Nowra and met the others at Budgong. The day was cool and clear, great weather for riding after a wet week. A short break was had at the Lookout, while enjoying excellent views over the Shoalhaven River and the Coolendel camping area, the group then returned to Nowra for lunch.
