SHOALHAVEN HEADS ‘BREAKY’ RIDE THIS SUNDAY

Next Sunday, 16th November, Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group (SBUG) will be riding from Nowra to Shoalhaven Heads for breakfast and return, a distance of 35kms. The ride will be at a moderate pace on sealed roads with some traffic. The ride starts at 8:00am from the Nowra Visitor Centre, Pleasant Way, Nowra. Breakfast will be at the Table Talk Café, River Road, Shoalhaven Heads. Contact Peter (02) 4446 0119 or Judi (02) 4421 5214.

Due to some of our SBUG members being away riding in the Cootamundra Bike Festival last Sunday only three riders participated in the ride to the ruined lighthouse in the Booderee National Park. The group rode along Jervis Bay Road, Wreck Bay Road and Stony Creek Road to the ruined lighthouse and then along the cliff top track to Governor Head and Murray’s Beach. The weather was warm and sunny for a very enjoyable ride.

The SBUG Christmas Party will be held on Friday 28 November at the Cambewarra Lookout Cafe commencing at 6.30pm. Please contact Paul Taylor  at WOLLEMIGROVE@BIGPOND.COM to confirm your booking before the 19 November. It should be a wonderful evening. Looking forward to seeing you there.
