SBUG MONTHLY MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY

The monthly meeting of the Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group (SBUG) will be held on Wednesday, 1 April, at the Bomaderry Bowling Club, upstairs in the Board Room, starting at 7:00 pm. All members and friends are welcome. You are also welcome to join us for dinner in the bistro at 6:00pm before the meeting or for coffee and cake after the meeting.

Last Sunday twelve Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group cyclists had an enjoyable 34km autumn ride in the Southern Highlands. The group set out from the Bowral Swimming Pool car park and rode along tree lined country roads to Berrima where a coffee break was taken at the Historic 1850’s Bakery Tea Rooms. The riders then rode to Moss Vale and along the shared cycle path through farm land back to Bowral for lunch at the Red Tree café.

Last Thursdays Midweek Mountain Bike ride was attended by fifteen riders who enjoyed a great scenic cycle beside the waters of St Georges Basin and Wandandian Creek on a perfect sunny, autumn morning. Lunch was had at Max’s new property on Wool Road Basin View and a relaxed coffee stop was taken at the Pelican Cafe at Island Point, on the return leg of the ride.

Our next social outing will be to the “ABBA Show” at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. If you are interested in joining SBUG members to see this show you should contact Paul Taylor on 02 4446 1052 as soon as possible.
