EXPLORE BOODEREE NATIONAL PARK AND THE LIGHTHOUSE RUINS THIS SUNDAY
Last Sunday five riders rode from Berry railway station to Werri Beach via Toolijooa Road. The weather was perfect for cycling and the participants were able to check out the progress of the new Princes Highway road works. One rider left the ride early and another continued through to Gerringong after a leisurely lunch and coffee at Werri Beach, and three riders returned to Berry after lunch.
Last Thursdays Midweek Mountain Bike ride through Booderee National Park was attended by 8 riders. The very cold start turned to perfect cycling conditions but big seas prevented what would have been the highlight of the ride along Bhewherre beach. This meant the loop could not be concluded and the cyclists had to return to the start via a very steep and long climb.
