Next Sunday, 28th September, Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group (SBUG) will be riding Bellawongarah to Cambewarra Lookout and return, starting at 9:00am at the intersection of Kangaroo Valley Road and Tourist Road, Bellawongarah / 25 km return / Moderate pace / Some Traffic / Medium difficulty / Significant hills. Ride to Cambewarra Lookout for coffee and great views of the Shoalhaven Area. Contact: Peter (02) 4446 0119.

Last Thursday’s midweek mountain bike ride started with a ride from the Falls Creek Fire Station through to Vincentia where the group joined up with and led the BIKE WEEK ride. The fifteen cyclists who started at Falls Creek were joined by twenty students and two teachers from Vincentia High School as they cycled around Vincentia to Plantation Point, and then to Huskisson via the Collingwood Beach shared path. At Huskisson the SBUG riders farewelled the Vincentia High students who made their way back to school, with the rest of the cyclists having a well deserved coffee break, before continuing back to the Falls Creek Fire Station. It was great to see the BIKE WEEK ride was well attended.

Last Sunday two of our riders travelled south to Termeil and enjoyed a ride on forest roads and tracks west of the Princes Highway. New territory for both riders so quite an adventure.

To help celebrate the beginning of daylight saving, the Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group will hold a paddle and peddle day on Sunday 5 October at Bangalee Reserve. All members and friends are invited to join us for a wonderful day of cycling and water sports by the beautiful Shoalhaven River. See the Shoalhaven BUG Ride Calendar for more information.
