SBUG WELCOME THEIR SIXTIETH MEMBER

The Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group Inc. (SBUG) was founded in September 1997 and is affiliated with the state body, Bicycle NSW. Our aim is to create a better environment for cycling and cyclists in the Shoalhaven region. We promote, advocate and support cycling in all its forms as an environmentally sustainable and healthy form of transport and recreation. Over the years our membership numbers have varied but twelve months ago our official membership was 35 riders. After a concerted effort to attract new members, the membership has now risen to 60, the highest number since we have been keeping official membership records. We would like to welcome our latest and 60th member, Monika Palczewski, to our group.

For information about Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group, including our monthly rides calendar, cycling news, photo gallery, on-line membership application and lots more, log onto our website at www.shoalhavenbug.com.au A variety of rides are scheduled over five days each week. Our rides calendar is updated weekly and occasionally changes are made at short notice so it is recommended that you check the website ride calendar a day or two before an intended ride. Shoalhaven BUG welcomes all riders on their rides, children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

In the next few weeks we are planning another social outing to the “ABBA Show” at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. If you are interested in joining SBUG members to see this show you should contact Paul Taylor on 02 4446 1052 as soon as possible.
