Ride from Culburra Beach to Orient Point this Sunday with SBUG

Last Sunday a number of hardy riders turned up for the last autumn Sunday ride at Kangaroo Valley. The morning began cold, overcast and breezy, and stayed that way for the remainder of the ride. Despite this, the group had an enjoyable if somewhat challenging ride up to the Upper Kangaroo River waterhole where they stopped for a break although no one took the challenge for a swim. Upon returning to Kangaroo Valley the group enjoyed refreshments and fun repartee at a local coffee shop.

The weekly MTB ride last Thursday saw 5 riders enjoy the very scenic Sussex to Bendalong ride, passing through Swanhaven, Cudmirrah and the Walterhood monument in the Conjola National Park. Along the route, the riders encountered a number of water crossings, and explored a new track at Bendalong. Refreshments were appreciated at the newly owned Cafe in Bendalong. Another great mountain bike adventure.

On Saturday night SBUG members and friends enjoyed a Chinese banquet, prior to getting dressed in our flares and sequins and heading off to the ABBA Tribute Show at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. Great entertainment, great music and fabulous dancing by Pres Mel! A good night was had by all.
