WELCOME TO THE BEAUTIFUL SHOALHAVEN

During December and January the population of the Shoalhaven increases two to three fold, particularly in the coastal towns and villages. Many of the visitors to the area bring their bicycles so that they can enjoy the many on road cycle routes, shared pathways and bush cycling tracks. One of the most popular cycling venues is the Jervis Bay “Around the Bay” shared pathway. Cyclists can begin their journey at Huskisson or Vincentia and travel the several kilometers around the foreshore of the bay, taking in the wonderful views. Lucky cyclists will spot pods of dolphins or penguins if they keep a ‘sharp eye out’ on their journey. Great cafes provide provide coffee, cakes and cool drinks for weary cyclists in both Vincentia and Hiskisson,
